A Massive thank you to two of our amazing volunteers for raising £200 for taking part in the London 10k run on 8th July 2012. Kate and Paul both completed around the hour mark and had fantastic support to raise such a great sum.
Please enquire within the office if you’re interested in helping B.I.G raise money or you wish donate!
Thanks for your support.
One of our amazing trips planned and implemented by B.I.G, it was a great day and everyone enjoyed the experience.
Our First Quiz night at the Kings Arms in King William Walk, Greenwich, took place last night and we successfully raisied £114.35 which means that our musical workshop for our blind and partially signted service users can now go ahead.
We have been very lucky that the Kings Arms are willing to do a quiz night for us on a weekly basis every tuesday night to help us raise money, it kicks off 8pm and all money raised will go toward helping blind and partially sighted people in the greenwich borough.
A BIG Thank You to everybody who made last night possible and everyone that turned up to support us.
Christmas is coming up as we all know and we at blind independence Greenwich are doing a christmas card appeal to help raise money for delivering services to blind people in Greenwich.
The volunteers will be needed for the end of November first week in December to give whatever free time you have to deliver cards in Greenwich.
A BIG Thank you to everyone who has already put there name forward!
BIG is looking for volunteers across Greenwich Borough to spare two hours to deliver our Christmas cards.
Contact the office to find out more.
